After 2.5 months, it’s finally time to properly announce what I’ve been working on.

This is “The Great China Adventure.” A grand story about my 6-month voyage abroad in China.

And at long last, the official trailer is OUT today (also on IG).

The film will be premiering at 10:30 p.m PT / 1:30 a.m EST on December 24th, 2025 (Christmas Eve).1 LIVE 2.5-hour premiere on YouTube.

For international audiences, here are the times:

  • 🇧🇷 3:30 a.m Brasília Time

  • 🇬🇧 6:30 a.m Western European Time

  • 🇪🇺 7:30 a.m Central European Time

  • 🇫🇮 8:30 a.m Eastern European Time

  • 🇨🇳 2:30 p.m China Standard Time

  • 🇯🇵 3:30 p.m Japan Standard Time

  • 🇦🇺 5:30 p.m Australian Daylight ET

  • 🇳🇿 7:30 p.m New Zealand Daylight Time

This film was supposed to be impossible.

I headed into mid-September, back to school, having wrapped up my work at a startup and premiered my 4th film, “Solstice.”

There were only 2.5 months left of 2025, and with zero compositions done, I thought to myself, “Yeah, I’ll probably work on the film another time.”

However, I had no choice.

With my 2nd study abroad coming up, the only window of time I had was right now.

I knew the sheer scale of work that was needed. 3,400+ video clips stored in my 2TB hard drive, 19 cities to score, and in my mind, a 2.5-hour film if completed.

But turns out, I severely underestimated myself.

We can accomplish impossible feats if we maniacally obsess over a singular mission. I think about the construction of the Empire State, Golden Gate, and 300,000 military aircraft the U.S built during WWII in record time.

Sure, I had to make sacrifices.2

Skipped classes, de-prioritization of grades, less socializing. But honestly, it didn’t matter at all. This was my season of “the great lock-in.”

And I was going to do whatever I could to get this film OUT before the end of the year.

46 compositions total, 2 hours 40 minutes of original music.

Mid-September, it seemed impossible. October, it still seemed impossible. November, even then, it still seemed impossible.

But now that I’ve gotten the trailer out and doing final edits, we’ve actually pulled it off.

Do things that stretch your definition of possible. Become superhuman.

December 24th, 2025. I’ll see you then on YouTube.

The Great China Adventure. LET’S F*CKING GO. ❤️‍🔥

Behind the scenes:

I ran my first 50k ultramarathon a few days ago!

It was my 2025 New Year’s Resolution to run one, so glad I could one-up it from the first marathon back in 2024.

Bit surreal knowing you could just run 31 miles around your city for 4.5 hours, but hey, you can just do things.

1 Pacific Time will be on the night of the 23rd. All other times will be on the 24th.

2 Wasn’t really a sacrifice in my mind; it was simply letting obsession take over.
